We are proud to induct Kevin R. Webb into the Susan Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame.

Kevin R. Webb manages national grant making and corporate employee volunteer programs as Senior Director of the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation. The Foundation’s vision is to empower youth with disabilities to lead productive lives by building a pipeline of talent to help create a more inclusive and sustainable society for all. Webb led the Foundation’s community inclusion initiative from 2005-2011, which culminated in a youth-led national inclusion campaign called “I am Norm” and a “Paths to Inclusion” publication.

The Foundation’s current, decade-long Empower Initiative has helped propel more than 50,000 youth with disabilities into competitive employment and independent living. Webb is a member of the American Association of People with Disabilities Disability Advisory Roundtable focused on promoting the full inclusion of people with disabilities in society, and tackling accessible technology, transportation, housing, health, education, and employment issues. He also serves on the National Disability Mentoring Coalition advisory board to help advance inclusive mentoring.

Previously, Webb worked for a decade in the field of international education and exchange planning professional exchange programs for 3,500 U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program participants, and leading civil society training missions to Chile, Moldova, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

An Eagle Scout, Webb holds a BA in International Studies and an MA in Public Administration from The Ohio State University. He lives in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife and two children. They serve as a therapeutic foster family with For Children’s Sake of Virginia and are currently providing a loving home to four foster children.
