We are proud to induct Ray Grand into the Susan Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame.
Ray Grand is a keynote speaker, author, podcast host, entrepreneur, and advocate for persons with disabilities. Ray was born and raised in Boston. At the very young age of 14 years old Ray contracted spinal meningitis leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. This drastic life gave Ray purpose and determination to help himself and help others as well.
Ray earned a full scholarship to Oklahoma State University where he played wheelchair basketball and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing.
In addition to entrepreneurship and keynote speaking, Ray is the author of “My Legs May Be Paralyzed But My Mind Isn’t”. Ray is also the host of his podcast show, “The Ray Grand Show.”
Ray uses his love for basketball and helping others by life coaching athletes who are living with a disability. Ray currently resides in the Atlanta, GA area with his wife and children.
