Paul Lewis

Chemco

“Mentoring means I make a personal difference in someone else’s life. It means I get to advise, coach, recommend, share ideas, listen and sometimes just sit and be there for my mentee.

With my mentee, it’s not just about working with him; it’s about having another friend in my life. Spending time with my mentee is truly a pleasure. I enjoy his company and the things we do. He is fun and his boundless energy and optimism is infectious. My life is richer for having him in it.”

We are proud to induct Paul Lewis into the Susan Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame.

As a graduate with a business degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell, Paul has been a serial entrepreneur since the age of 11, when he opened a store in his parents’ garage and sold candy to the neighborhood kids. In 1993, he co-founded a small chain of gourmet coffee houses, which he sold in 2001. Today he is the second-generation owner of Chemco, a manufacturer of cleaning products to the fast food industry.

Paul is an avid exerciser, dog lover, traveler, and community advocate.
